Lock In Lower Electricity Rates
A recent drop in electric rates offers you a chance to lock-in reasonable rates for up to five years. Today's rates, including capacity charge, under the PGAMA group buying plan (offered through our huge aggregation group called MAAGIC) have fallen from in excess of 15 cents per Kw to the low rates shown below.

As of 12/16/08:
BGE area for GL Class
(Mid-sized commercial users):
24 month rate is 12.83 cents/Kw
36 month rate is 12.78 cents/Kw

PEPCO service area MGT-LV-IIA (Mid-sized commercial users):
24 month rate is 11.87/Kw
36 month rate is 11.86/Kw

We haven't seen rates this low in over a year. To get a contract offer to consider, fax a copy of your last electric bill to Stephen Nees of Direct Energy at 1-888-833-7214 and ask for an offering to consider. For more information email or call PGAMA. Note: Electricity rates have little to do with price of oil. They are affected far more by the price of natural gas. Act now before prices go up again!

E-Verify Coming Soon
E-Verify is the electronic employment eligibility verification system created to ensure that all persons performing work within the United States under federal contract are authorized to work in the U.S. Beginning January 15, 2009 government contractors with $100,000 contracts (or more) and subcontractors with $3,000 contracts (or more) will be required to verify their workers are authorized to work in the U.S. The process is done on-line. All new hires and existing employees must be enrolled. Contractors may enroll at any time before the effective date. Learn more about E-Verify here.
