Our Mission
PGAMA’s mission is to communicate, advocate and educate on behalf of our members and our industry. Additionally, the association offers many occasions throughout the year to network with fellow members, suppliers, and guests at events such as Cocktails and Connections, Golf Outings, and the Annual Excellence in Print Awards Banquet. Members who take advantage of these opportunities see real positive outcomes for their businesses. PGAMA also offers members many options to save money through a robust Group Buying Program and Exclusive Member Benefit services.
PGAMA means Networking
Meet with your fellow professionals at Cocktails and Connections, Golf Outings, fall Crab Feast, and The Annual Excellence In Print Awards Gala. Our offerings in the areas of education and advocacy are opportunities to network as well.
PGAMA means Education
During the year, PGAMA offers includes Executive Roundtables, HR webinars, Educational Seminars, and a variety of specialized workshops on sales, color management, training, and more. All of these programs are intent on delivering industry-best business practices to our members.
PGAMA means Communication
All members of PGAMA receive the weekly e-newsletter and the quarterly publication, Print Matters. Each of these platforms offers a different tone and focus providing you with relevant news you can use as well as ideas to help your business.
PGAMA means Advocacy
PGAMA has a strong legislative presence with key legislators and committees in Annapolis and Richmond to watch for any legislation introduced that might have a positive or adverse effect on our industry.
PGAMA is the most cost-effective insurance policy you can have to protect your business from a variety of challenges; be it government regulations, compliance, sales and use tax, and subjects that have yet to be presented.
How we support our members
PGAMA supports our members and industry through a variety of pursuits including common-sense legislative and regulation both on a local, regional and national level.
We actively engage with legislators and regulatory agencies on all levels, we are a strong voice for issues that impact our members and the industry. Yearly, we visit with top national decision-makers in Washington and locally we keep in contact with our legislators in Maryland and Virginia through our lobby partners.
Additionally, our advocacy encompasses the promotion of our industry and the economic value and responsible and sustainable business practices that our industry has always pursued.
What is our Young Professionals in Print Group?
Our Young Professionals in Print group, hosted through the Printing & Graphics Association MidAtlantic (PGAMA) is designed for people in the Graphic Communications industry including print, design, suppliers, and more, who are between the ages of 22 to 45.
