This program will provide you with the latest information on environmental compliance requirements that affect printing operations. You will learn about the most recent changes in the regulations covering topics such as air pollution control requirements, air permits, hazardous waste identification and handling, as well as waste water discharges. The program will also address storm water discharges, emergency planning, community right-to-know reporting, and other key regulatory requirements. 

By the end of the program, you will have a basic understanding of:

•Air pollution permit thresholds

•Air pollution control requirements

•How to identify and manage hazardous wastes

•Limits for pollutants in wastewater discharges

•No Exposure Certification for Stormwater Discharges

•Reporting requirements for the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act

COMPLIANCE KIT

The program will be lead by Gary Jones, Printing Industries of America’s Assistant Vice President of Environmental, Health and Safety Affairs, who has over 29 years of experience in assisting printers with their compliance obligations.  His primary responsibility is to monitor and analyze EHS
regulatory activities at all government levels and provide representation on behalf of the printing industry.  In doing so, Mr. Jones works closely with the federal and state-level Environmental Protection Agencies (EPA),
Occupational Safety and Health Agency (OSHA), Department of
Transportation (DOT), Department of Homeland Security (DHS),
Department of Agriculture (USDA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) by providing direct
representation or supporting the local Printing Industries of America
affiliates in their efforts to represent printers.
